People returning to Rwanda after the genocide was overreclaim land in a unpopulated swampy area, with technology and financial support from the Canadian Government and ADRA. Provisions made were schools, clinics, housing, infrastructure and demonstrated how to drain the swamps: Family stands beside their new house, provided by the program.
